In the past 6 years, my family have worked with Charlene for multiple houses for both primary residence and investment properties. She is always be patient, helps us with her professional expertise and responds to our questions promptly. Charlene is a very experienced and knowledgeable realtor. She can understand buyer's real need and give reasonable suggestions. Unlike some agents who are always trying to close deal, she is very patient and explain the pros and cons for each house that I am interested in. Charlene was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure that we found the right property for us! She ensured that we always felt comfortable and was honest about what she thought of the property’s. She also went one step further and assisted with transportation when we weren’t able to get to a scheduled event! I highly recommend Charlene to anyone that is looking for a property in the 7 cities area!

I started working with Charlene in November of 2021 via Navy Federal's Realty Plus program and she has been an excellent agent the entire time. Despite all the horrible issues that cropped up in this deal, Charlene remained composed, communicative, respectful, resourceful, and solution-oriented. My situation was a tricky one, after failing to sell my house for 4 months in 2020 my property managers I believe became jealous that I chose to work with a more capable agent. I'm also currently living out of the state of Virginia, so all of this was handled remotely. I've been trying to get rid of this house since I got out of the military in 2019. My property managers lied to me and told me they had switched my tenant to month to month lease in preparation to sell my house, but the truth was revealed in February 2022 that they had actually renewed an annual lease. Leaving me stuck with tenants until September 2022. Charlene was still able to get my home on the market in February 2022, even with tenants and she secured a sale for May 2022. These property mangers also neglected to mention and address vital repairs to the floors in the roof, leaving my tenant with floors of exposed concrete in certain areas! I only learned of this neglect thanks to the diligence of Charlene who brought these issues to my attention immediately. Charlene also helped me in finding contractors to fix the issues at a reasonable price. For the floors she suggested I utilize my home insurance, since it was water damage that caused the floor issue, and obvious idea which did not occur to me and the property managers failed even bring up. This saved me thousands of $, I only had to pay the deductible. She also had the roof repairs worked into the closing documents which helped expedite the process of selling my home. My tenants refused to pay full rent were often uncooperative, my property manger refused to turn over the security deposit and was very disrespectful to her but Charlene still diligently worked to successfully co-ordinate all things necessary, going well above the call of duty. Charlene was the only person I really had faith in to make this deal happen. She made sure my house was presentable. She was proactive and co-operative. She made sure I understood what was happening. We closed today, on a very difficult situation. Charlene has helped free me from a 3-year ordeal and I believe she is one of the best Real Estate agents in Virginia. She's definitely earned her commission on this one. She did not run from any problems that came up and and did everything in her power to make this happen. I will remain forever grateful. Thanks Charlene! If you want someone to sell your house as effectively as possible, pick Charlene.
