*** FUTURE TENANTS BEWARE!!! *** First off, Mark Kolodziej and Ashley McDougal left great reviews of this place and are also employees... Real credible sources they are. I, however, am a tenant in a property that is managed by ERA, and I am extremely frustrated with the "support" they provide to their tenants. I am leaving this review to warn ALL potential tenants of what they can expect from this property management group. They will blame you when anything happens to the property that would require maintenance or upkeep outside of the normal lawn care and cleanliness requirements. There was a problem at my property with the temperature of the tap water both in the sink and in the showers. Sometimes it was scalding hot and other times with the faucet all the way to the "hot" side, it was luke warm. Tonya Harding (seriously her name) seemed utterly clueless when I showed up without an appointment to discuss the issue. She told me to just submit a request on their maintenance portal. They sent a plumber who verified the water heater was working correctly but then charged me $50 for submitting a maintenance request that resulted in "no issue being identified". The water temperature still fluctuates, and I'm out $50. After a wind storm a few months back, I think late spring, a 5 foot section of fence blew over. It took 2 weeks after my maintenance request to send a contractor to repair the fence, which was rotting when we moved in, and ERA called to inform me that "they were sending someone to inspect the fence to see if it was purposefully tampered with" or actually broken from the wind. The last issue I will discuss was when their portal to pay rent was not working correctly. My wife and I checked it everyday from the 1st through the 6th of the month, but were unable to submit payment because it showed that we owed "$0.00" and after updating on the 9th of the month, I was charged a late fee for not submitting payment. At this time, Laura Chan was the manager of the property, and after telling me it was my fault that my rent was late, refused to reason with me about their website being down. In summary, their customer service to the tenant is non-existent. They don't care about your quality of life, only that you pay rent. There are other property management groups that treat tenants like owners. I cannot wait to get out of this property. It will be worth paying the costs of moving and the move out fees (hopefully there are no reprisals for this review and the move out inspection is legit). If you are looking into a property under their responsibility, run away!!
