Hi there! I'm Michelle Stanek. Becoming a real estate agent combined my passion for teaching with my love of networking and helping others. Prior to becoming a REALTOR, I was a special education teacher and hold two master's degrees in education. I have enjoyed my time spent in the classroom, but my creative ambitions and love for adventure drew me to real estate. When working with clients, whether helping them buy or sell, I have countless opportunities to teach them throughout the process as well as travel and meet new people. Past clients have stated that I make the experience exciting and effortless since I explain each step so they have a clear understanding of the process as well as realistic expectations with enthusiasm and patience. Helping clients realize their dreams and achieve their goals are the most rewarding aspects of my career!

I have lived in Virginia Beach most of my life, and I grew up in a military family. Having developed an understanding of the military relocation concerns makes me your go-to agent  Note, whether you are military or civilian, I would love to help you with all your real estate needs. In my home life, I have two children and we enjoy hiking, creating art, and traveling. Furthermore, I have played guitar for most of my life, so if you'd like I can serenade you on closing day!
